I decided to try using GIMP again. I revisited the concept of the weird dudes from my "Zones Without People" drawing (AKA “Zoners”)

so far I’ve gotten that they have dark/nearly black glitchy bodies and if you look at the places where their heads are supposed to be you’ll see like a pixelly thing superimposed onto your vision.

and the pixelly thing is different for each individual “Zoner”. So they’ll look like letters, numbers, shapes, icons…

initially I was thinking they would exclusively have unicode or ascii symbols for heads. So that they could be identified on the basis of the code or name for their symbol, so a Zoner with a ☿ symbol would either be called “Mercury Zoner” or “Zoner U+263F”
