A painting I did inspired by Devin Townsend’s song Kingdom, and I specifically mean the version of the song that he recorded as part of his Epicloud album.

I originally came up with the mental image for this painting over a year ago when I was designing this assortment of "angelic" creatures. But I didn't have the painting skills to REMOTELY capture the mental image I had in mind, so I held it off. And then more than a year later I've made this.

The mental image comprised of the creatures I had designed flying out from this giant flying castle-like structure. That was ambiguously probably a creature just like them only fuckhuge.

Now I’ve seen the way it’s headed

Down and down, the youth descended

Have it here and without worry
