(in Kentu's world, werewolves aren't inherently connected by magic. connections are only facilitated by pack Alphas during hunts or other group activities that makes them more or less chess players and their pack become pieces on the board they can move about freely. not complete mind control, but they're affected and strengthened by the alpha buffing and willing them into certain actions.)
