The glutton demon dwelling deep within the Earth yearns to break free, so it employs the dragon knight Callum and his steed, Sugar, as its pawns. The force binding it in place—a magical, obsidian totem—lays spread across the land, residing in remote and desolate places fraught with danger. The dragon and his steed must face many enemies, from both within and without, and temper their inherently prodigious appetites to succeed. Along the way, they begin to realize the true gravity of their situation as their expanding waistlines prove their greatest foe.
