I could have never known or predicted how things would have turned out for me; it has been over a year now since we first met. I still remember it quite well, the flirting most of all, but the memories we weaved together will forever live on, no matter what. He helped me become who I am today, always being there for me in times of need; always ready to move forward with a smile while holding my hand; always reassuring me. I fell in love without knowing it, without having experienced anything like this before.
But if I could go back and change anything in my life, would I do it?
The answer is a resounding no, because I am happy with how things turned out as they are. And this Valentine's Day, I won't be alone, and neither will he.
