When I first met you, you were a wolf made of stone, your spirit and being hardened over the course of your life. Even from the distance, I could feel it...I could see it...and although I cant explain why, I yearned to show you warmth, and you accepted it. It was as if you too yearned for it...it was as if you were silently searching for it, and somehow you found that comfort in me.

Total strangers... I didn't know what you looked like, what you sounded like, what you smelled like...and yet I opened my arms to you, and like a lost dog you fell into them and sank into the warmth and comfort I offered you. You didn't know me or anything about me, and yet you confided in me, and for reasons neither of us can explain, you allowed your hardened shell to melt away to reveal to me the side of you that not many have had the privilege to see....the real you, the you that I knew was there all along...

Your eyes are no longer cold, but warm and full of love for me...your arms, thick and powerful, hold me and protect me from the world around us...your hands, so rough and strong from your years of hard work can easily hurt someone, but their touch is warm and gentle as though I were fragile to you....No one has ever held or touched me like you do, no one has ever kissed me with the tenderness and passion that you do.

I know it takes a special kind of love to soften a hardened heart...and I'm glad that I could be the one to show you that kind of love, to free you from that shell of stone that I found you in...and for as long as I have the privilege to be your she-wolf, I will continue to show you that love and then some. You are my alpha...and a good alphess always takes care of her alpha no matter what.
