today is the last day of Black History Month, so i drew my sona in my Ryoma cosplay 🎾❤️🖤💚

i don’t come across many black Ryoma fans in the fandom, especially not black women (including nonbinary), so i feel i definitely stand out. it’s kind of a struggle knowing you don’t really see people who look like you and don’t know who you are, but i try to make my identity clear and present and take pride in the things that i do while being a black nonbinary woman, such as writing and drawing, even if people don’t really care for my blackness.

i love this character deeply and i feel more than happy to have this love for him as someone who doesn’t see many people who look like me who do 💙
