This is a pen and ink I did as the cover for a program/poster/invite/etc... of a viola recital I put on. I love doing the city in pen, it gives that rigid "steel and glass" feeling that the city needs, while the crosshatching lends a more human element. The viola was more of a challenge, it was difficult giving life to it in black and white, my instrument is really dark and rich in color to start of with. I think it came off well though, what do you guys think?
