Oh wow - there's this strong sense of despair and loss from this. I think the textures help convey that a lot, grundgy and torn; it looks really well!

Thank you very much for the lovely comment! When I started drawing this I was going through quite a rough patch in my life, so I think a lot of that seeped into the art.

I love the emotional part of this work. I enjoy all formal aspects of this work, including perfectly done anatomy, absolutely great light and very good composition, but for me the best part of your picture are those feelings on the lion's face :3
