I posted an "I heart dragons" button on Cafe Press waaay back in January 2021, but I forgot to make a submission announcing it! This comic was inspired by something that really did happen. When I submitted the button, I got a message that the button had been removed for violating the Content Upload Policy. I had no idea why this button could have been struck since there was no inappropriate imagery. The best guesses I could come up with was maybe the website took issue with the flag shirts the dragons wore, or maybe Cafe Press had issues with Yan's Hong Kong flag shirt due to the Hong Kong protests in 2019-2020. However, I could find products with the American Flag and other items with the Hong Kong orchid design on Cafe Press, so that couldn't be the reason why my button was taken down. I wrote to customer support, and the button was reinstated. So thankfully things worked out.
