Ok the last couple characters have admittedly been scraping the bottom of the barrel. To rectify this, the artist made a mad dash to recruit any characters that wouldn't be disappointing, and then an obvious solution was found. Where's the old school characters? Massive fighting games like Smash Bros always throw in a few oddballs from the NES era. So the artist decided to do something similar and trot out some characters that first appeared in his comics way back in elementary school. Before there was Domino, there was Cinnamon, Midnight and Sugar. The three of them may all be guinea pigs but each one would have unique attributes quite fitting for a fighting game! Cinnamon can use trickery and deceptive set ups for his punishing combos, Midnight can use his intelligence and inventions to attack, and Sugar... ummm would hit her enemies with large lollipops and other candy based attacks. Not every character in a fighting game has to be a martial arts master or a living weapon that destroys continents with one touch. Sometimes the most unexpected and silly characters can still become top tier.
