I adapted my video game icon of Domino into Perler beads! Since the original pixel art is 50x50, I had to use 2,500 beads for this. I had several difficulties that got in the way. A friend's dog knocked over my Peler bead board while I was arranging all the beads, forcing me to reconstruct parts. When a friend and I tried to iron it, some beads melded together but others fell apart, forcing me to reconstruct the image yet again. I was advised to try applying tape over the beads, and then take them out while they're attached to the tape and iron them that way, and that method finally worked! The next Perler bead art I do will be smaller so it's easier to iron. I'm not sure what I'll do with this character select icon of Domino though. Maybe frame it and put it on my wall somewhere?
