After doing a bunch of Don Bluth style drawings of my characters, I wanted to continue trying out other artist styles. I follow the you tube channel Defunct Land and rewatched an episode they had on the PBS show Dragon Tales. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNF6XhSF0a8 Ok, I'll admit I never actually watched the show. However I really liked show creator Ron Rodecker's style of drawing dragons. I then thought, how would my Eastern dragon characters look in the style of Dragon Tales? To fit with the style of the show, I gave each dragon their own necklaces. Basho has the Shinto Tomoe (incidentally the kanji for tomoe 巴 is also used in Basho's name 芭蕉), Yan has a Yin-Yang, and Hwang has a Sam-Taegeuk. (thanks to SoongDae for that suggestion. Here's his twitter https://twitter.com/soongdae) I had some room left over on my page, and added Tyler the thylacine and Domino they guinea pig species-swapped into dragons. Tyler gets a boomerang necklace since thylacines were from Australia, and Domino obviously gets a domino tile. I may or may not color these sketches later, I dunno.
