Deviant Art is doing some more badge giveaways, and this time it's a dragon tutorial with the hastag #DATutorialDragon. https://www.deviantart.com/team/journal/Tutorial-Draw-a-Dragon-with-ryky-887583298 I previously did their hand tutorial, and I can't say no to a dragon badge. So here's some dragon art I doodled in Sketchbook Pro. As a little bonus, I added my noodle dragon Basho as well. The tutorial rules said nothing about whether you have to draw an Eastern dragon or a Western dragon anyway. ;) Drawing the wings on the western dragon was really difficult for me for some reason. I couldn't decide if I wanted big wings, or tiny wings on a large dragon a la Elliot from Pete's Dragon. My Charizard and Ridley amiibo figures were good 3D references for me to use on drawing dragon wings.
