If you ever visit the Hawaiian island of Kauai, one of the first things you'll notice is there's a lot of wild chickens and roosters wandering around. This was due to tons of domestic chickens and roosters being freed during Hurricane Iniki in 1992 and then breeding in the wild. https://www.activitykauai.com/why-are-there-so-many-kauai-chickens While I was visiting Waimea Canyon, I saw a hen with all of its chicks hiding under their mother's body to stay out of rain. This one chick though was a little late getting underneath, creating this little moment I captured.
