I'm on a roll! Three pages in a week. I hope this is not a prelude to a massive art block!! Anyway... it's time to shine the spotlight on the Retcans for a bit, just so we get to know them a bit more and their ship. The next pages will be focused on them. And just like I did in the first pages, I might be doing a lot of wide background shots to show a little bit of their world. This has been very challenging as I am not good with spaceship designs. The D.E Cruiser and Canis Major was pretty much the best I could do. So after some heavy brainstorming and digging deep into how I see the Retcan ship in my imagination, I came up with the best representation that I could. I wanted the ship to feel more organic and alien. Rounder shapes and colder hues, in contrast with the more simplistic, symmetrical, boxy and warm environments that the Evos are accustomed to.

Retcans don't live in this ship permanently as Evos do in Canis Major. Retcans do have their own planet. However, they have a reason to be traveling in space, which I will reveal soon. Although Rage of Lusceonis is a massive ship on its own right, capable of sustaining its crew indefinitely, it is certainly just a spec next to the gargantuan asteroid that houses Canis Major. I hope it's still an impressive and almost ominous sight to see.

We also get to see more Retcans! Not only Captain Silver, but her assistant Bo, and one of the bridge technicians, Cobalt.
