Far be it from me to be that guy that stands on the street corner with a "The End is Near" sign, but the progressive movement has really got my shorts in bunch as of late. Don't get me wrong, it's not like I've just woken up to this or anything -- it's been on a slow burn for a very long time, but I do feel like it has really ramped up significantly over the past few years.

When the progressive left can preach tolerance and acceptance in that we should accept different ideas and views, yet if certain views and ideas go against their prescribed agenda, well it gets labeled as hate speech, biggitted, or racist. We have socialists and straight up false prophets vying for head of state next year coming out of the left, and frankly, it has me a bit anxious. It no longer feels like we are going to “Hell in handbasket,” but instead, queing up for the fastest bullet train to get us there as quick as possible.

There is no quick fix for this, and it may be a losing battle, but the only way to continue to fight the good fight is simply that -- fight the good fight on the side of right, and to continue to do what we can to leave this world better than we found it.

Normally, I would apologize and climb down off my moral soap box at this point, but you know, I rather like the air up here -- it’s much fresher.
