This is a personal piece that took quite a long time to do. A lot of negative emotions went into it.
I've been feeling down for quite a while. Coming to terms and fighting with a chronic pain diagnosis (DDD). How that has taken away my career as a tattooist. Feeling like my art is never good enough. Feeling very distant from family and friends. And just in general feeling very alone.
This took.. the odd hour or two every day or two, over the space of two or three weeks. Total of 61 layers, and I really need to find a better way to do fur or grass, other than doing it blade by blade, hair by hair, with a 0.7 pen tool.
