Jay is extremely serious and controling, Him and the other wolves in the forest are the protectors Jay leads them as. He basically is the king while kai is the prince. They allow all forms of life to set foot in the forest but hunters or anything intending to harm the animals and creatures currently living there. Kai is Jays only son so he is trying to teach him to be a good leader and the ways of the forest. Although kai doesnt want to which results in him venturing off while Jay doesnt know.
