This is a redesign of the very first character I ever made back in fifth grade. Her name is Rabbitwolf. She’s a hybrid of a rabbit and wolf, if that wasn’t obvious. I loved making animal hybrids as a kid, and Rabbitwolf was my favourite. She would save all her friends from the evil Eater-Ant and Flying Fox.

She’s been re conceptualized over the years a few times. But I’ve never been happy with them because whenever I would redesign her, she would end up being a furry. And she’s not. She’s a quadruped. (that can, on occasion, stand on two legs when she needs to)

She has always been, and always will be, one of my favourite characters. She broke all the gender roles that people put on little girls, but also embraced them. She loves to cook, she daydreams about a night in shining armour, she’s motherly and everything people expect a girl to be. But she’s also kickass, the first to run into battle, the first to protect a friend. She loves Hot Wheels toys and MegaBlox and video games and comic books and being strong.

I called her a tom boy when I was a kid, because I was a tom boy. She represented me in a lot of ways.

Now I just call her a wonderful old character, and an amazing female.
