indeed it is one of numerous gzdoom monsters i have made far too many graphics for, though I cannot verify that it is actually dead since it keeps getting back up! Thank you for appreciating it! But I shan't be proud until it is all finished.

Hey, better far too many instead of not enough in this instance. Have fun but don't obsess over it. Take breaks, eat well, get 8 hours of sleep, drink some tea, and have nice long hot bubble baths.

Without obsession I would have abandoned this sort of project ages ago! It allows me to extend motivation across long periods even in the absence of direct encouragement or understanding from outside myself.

Then perhaps obsession in this instance is a good thing. I still offer up my other advice, though.
