A mature Chalicothere bull traveling with a pair of cows and a young calf...being challenged for dominance by a younger bull. The youngster isn't even as large as a cow yet and has not grown a full mane or beard...indeed he hasn't fully shed out into his adult markings yet. What he lacks in maturity he makes up for with spirit and ambition!!!

However it is beneath the dominant bull to even acknowledge the challenger. Maybe in a few years, but certainly not today.

This took entirely too long to draw but I'm so happy with it!!!
