💢 The band stallion seemed content with letting Morbid go, and returns to his herd at a jaunty trot, tail flagged and neck arched. The lead mare, noticing that her stallion had ended the fight (and that she'd shooed away the young bachelor) returned to her herd as well. She took her place at the front and led them over a rise, the lead stallion circling behind the herd and ushering along any stragglers. Apparently, they were not interested in regaining the young mare who had split off from the group.

The young bachelor caught up to her and, despite his inexperience, was able to drive her back toward Morbid. Despite the overall situation - Morbid injured, and the other mares leaving - at least something had word out. Sort of. 💢
