A bit of a redraw of a 2010 coloured pencil piece I did for my husband's RPG setting.

This is the lightning dragon. It travels around in storms and spends all of it's time up in storm clouds. It's bones, horns, and the wing spikes on it's back are made of copper and highly conductive, allowing it to travel on the lightning. Because they can't actually fly on their own though, it isn't unheard of for a lightning dragon to occasionally fall out of the sky though during a storm and then have to wait for lightning to ride back up to the clouds.

I'm back to drawing on my PC after getting a new tablet, so this was my first time using the new Sai version 2. It's going to take me some getting used to, but I loved version 1 so I'm hoping I'll take to it before too long and it will work as good as the last one for me. ^^;
