My first drawing from 2020!

This is my Voltron OC Zhivka! she's Galra but not part of the Military. I haven't worked much out on her background but her Job involves Transportation. She is in the Galra equivalent of her late 20s, which in her culture, according to my various HCs about the Galra, is still a little young. Some of them can live with the help of Quintessence several Millennia. I was so fascinated by all the meta I read on Tumblr about them that I decided to make my own OC. She is surprisingly friendly, amiable and warm considering the typical Galra Sterotype of them always being dead-serious and very intense and violent (cough which is partly true due to Zarkon having fucked up their culture over the decades cough).

I was very disappointed how the show treated the Story and especially them, because they could have made everything so much interesting. But no, they completely simplified everything and went with the black and white "good-guys vs bad guys" plot. Not only to mention the politically catastrophic things Team Voltron and Allura did with killing Lotor. Ugh so much bad writing, but enough of my rant.

Notes: From the beginning I had a pretty clear mind on what she wears. But it wasn't easy to find a color palette, so I had to look what the Galra wore in the show (except Black, Purple, Bluish Armour). I settled on a Red/Black/Greyish palette. I didn't know much what to do with the Background, but I gave it a something vibrant to match with Zhivka's Outfit.
