I don't ask for freebies. And I don't make requests.

98% of what's in my gallery is art that I have commissioned. And I don't needle the artists I commission. I give them an idea of what I want, and let them run with it. They send me a preview, I give them my corrections if needed, and I let them do their thing. I usually don't give them a deadline either. And I tell them not to rush on my part. The results are usually great.

I realize this doesn't work for everybody, but that's how I roll. So when I get gifts, they are truly appreciated.

LaffyKat has been a great friend to me. I've gotten a couple pieces done by him and he allowed me to use his character Kalistah in a set of three related pinups that were done by Crystal-For-Ever.

Laffy and Crystal have be great, and have been open to my ideas. Nothing too wild, mind you. But I've tried to be respectful when it came to incorporating their characters in my ideas.

Laffy recently sent me this piece as a gift. I like how he did the stripes. Don't comment about them: I know Kyrell's stripes are silver and black. This is a gift, so the artist has the right to interpret the character as he chooses.
