I did say I would show off this wingless bats back. So here it is.

In the story, Bats living with the Lynnex to the east gets their wings removed at birth, so that they cannot feel or act any better than the native lynnex. Lynnex are kind of the bad-guys in my story, but they do have rebels and factions of their own, trying to dim down the violence and brutality of the cities they have. They are very centered around conquering and dominating. They are also extremely adapt in magi, having natural affinity to it. So don't go east of the wall of Iore.

Anyway, Asclarii up here did live with them as a kid - then turned to wandering, might use her in the story at some point, or make her cannon as another story, when I start writing again. :)
