So a close friend got me super into Magic Knight Rayearth by literally throwing the first omnibus at me (I'm serious. She bought the Dark Horse omnibus it for me and mailed it to me). And after vague descriptions and general discussion of the second arc happened I ended up caving and reading the second half online (via the original Mixx translations, eugh?). I still fell in love with it. Twists I wasn't expecting. It's officially my second favorite CLAMP setting (half the reason CCS wins, btw, is the gimmick. I love those cards).

And so I decided when I, on a whim, chose to make a product via JiMi Agency (great people, here's their site: http://www.jimiagency.net/ ) I decided I had to make some MKR related stuff. Kind of an expensive whim but also kind of worth it? I then got into my head that I should draw the girls in their final armor. Great idea, galactic! Draw a bunch of complicated CLAMP designs in their most complicated forms! The file went corrupt on me and oh my goodness. I got it done though, and they're quite nice!

This is actually probably the only run of this specific design I'm going to do. I've shifted styles prettily heavily since I drew this so while I may redo the concept it'll be in lineless form. So these are kind of (unintentionally) limited edition, too! Anyways, this is just the art itself, resized to a lower resolution!
