Shimmer is almost a secondary owner of Nell's ranch, Time to work! Shimmer has actually positioned herself as an almost secondary owner of the ranch, often helping out Nell with chores and helping to keep some of the more rambunctious of Nell's menagerie under control. In some ways she's actually more mature than Nell, definitely better at socializing and not getting angry at stuff. XD
