alright i hope this critique isn't too sharp. im still new at this

your general composition shows a strong understanding of two dimensional space-you have put together a really strong composition in terms of focal point, color use/depth, and understanding/manipulation of focal point.

it seems like you got a little sloppy cleaning up your sketch-the lines are a little shaky with the hands and the feet, around the tiles of the roof.-i don't know if you were going for that, but the top half of the composition has clean lines, so it kind of gives me mixed feelings.

and the arm leftmost to the composition-the arm touching the chimney-it's giving me a big question mark. i don't know if it's the fact that the chimney should be closer, the arm should be more bent, the foreshortening isn't communication and some lines need to be there that aren't there. It flattens the composition a little when i look at that spot

I really like the feeling and warmth of this picture, and you definately tackle backgrounds a lot better than most people (myself included, its something a lot of people avoid because it's hard. the same goes with going back to 2 point). I hope this was ok?
