This is my first finished piece after my "concept mode". I hope I'm improving since my last pieces. I decided to focus a bit on my main characters and perhaps pull from some story or "canon" as you call it, and show what their relationship is like. This is Arlo Cashmere and Enzo Cashmere. They're brothers with very different personalities, yet at the end of the day, they're family and very close.

This depicts Arlo returning home on military leave. The first night he's back Enzo has fallen asleep on the couch with his brother. While Enzo is extremely smart, he's always had trouble making friends. He's always looked up to his brother, and even wanted Arlo to join him in a business opportunity, but Arlo signed up for the military. Regardless, Enzo doesn't just see him as a brother, but also as a best friend. Anyway, it's in the winter and very cold outside in this scene (at least I tried to show that). I wanted to show some warm and cold contrasts as I keep experimenting with shading.
