Animated Panorama (critique requested)

What it says on the can NULL My photographic experiment - animation made from panoramic photos! Don't ask how long it took to shoot and then process...

I only uploaded downscaled version here, because the original resolution is very large, times two dozens of frames.

Did you use a grid while shooting these frames? If not, it may help to line up certain parts of the scenery by the thirds on the grid next time you do this (if you do). It was quite smooth until the last three frames, where it got quite wobbly (when compared to the previous frames).

Otherwise, you did a very nice job on this!

Thanks! I tried aligning the frames as best as I could, but unfortunately the battery dropped very low near the end (I had to shoot some parts multiple times, because people walked in in the middle of shooting, some walking literally at snail distance), so last few frames were shot in more hurry, hence the wobbliness.

Though it's my first experiment of this kind to see how it would look, once I find some nice locations to shoot more like these, I'll be more prepared NULL (for example I underestimated the required battery life)

Yes, a camera's battery sure does never go quite as long as you hope or need it to go. I've seen that firsthand trying to shoot photos for my own projects (Graphic Design courses, mostly).

If you see a person or a group of people coming up, rather than trying to hurriedly shoot the photo, perhaps instead you could turn your camera off and wait for them. It may save your battery and it can definitely keep the quality of the finished project from dropping. :)

Sorry, I guess I haven't explained it clearly. I haven't tried to hurriedly shoot the photo because of the people, but because of the battery dropping to zero (so I could get as many frames as possible, before it dies, I have two batteries though, so I should've taken the other one with me). Of course I shut down the camera while waiting (well rather put it to standby mode, as turning it off and on repeatedly actually drains more power), I'm not that dumb x3

But I lost some time because of that (shooting takes a while and they walked in the middle of it), but also more importantly (sorry for not mentioning it earlier) changing lighting conditions - a cloud covered sun for a while and I had to wait for that to pass and had to start anew (I'm also using continuous shooting mode - it takes much less time than shooting each frame individually), but obviously half-finished frame drained some battery.

But it's mostly me underestimating the battery life requirements for this - don't worry, I think I'm smart enough to learn from my own mistakes ^^

Well then I wish you the best of luck!

Thanks! I apologize if I sounded a bit rude or anything like that, I do appreciate constructive criticism, it's just that I realize a lot of the problems myself and some things are fairly obvious, so I just meant that it's not necessary to state them all.
