I was diagnosed with ASD about ten years ago (although there were suspicions that I've had it from an early age), and stories like the online influencer who adopted a special needs baby, only to chuck him out the window a year later because he was too difficult to raise, really burn me up. He's a child. He's not a dog you can take back to the pound because he pees on the leg of your favorite chair.

This picture was cathartic, because I really felt for that kid. You can't just throw him away like that! Although considering the dubious quality of his adoptive parents, maybe it's for the best that he found better ones.

On a related note, this drawing got a lot of comments on FurAffinity, including a rather callous response from a man who went on to become a murderer. Those comments are gone, but I'll always have the memories of my dinner with Dahmer...
