This is, overall, quite a nice piece of art. It has a solid 3-dimensional feel about it. However, I think that perhaps the character is not quite contrasty enough. The highlights look to be somewhat suppressed, and the shadows are not particularly dark (although I see that there is an underlying light source). It is most noticeable on the coat, really.
