I've always wanted a pet skunk. What is it like owning two of them? Your albino one is super adorable!

If you know what you're doing, it's fine. :D They can be nuisances though! The albino one is unfortunately a little skittish and probably always will be (I got him as an adult so he's not as bonded with me as the other one) but when you actually get hold of him he is incredibly cuddly and gentle. I can't get my head around why he doesn't crave cuddles as much as the other one, but I accept his little quirks. :P

Oh, and the albino dug straight through a plaster wall once in our old house... that was annoying. They can be a little destructive. Charlie (black and white) used to pull wallpaper off the walls at the old house too. They're both very good and not destructive these days though!

Oh man, that had to have sucked when the albino tore through the wall! Sounds like your two mellowed out now, and it also sounds like they each have their own little quirks and personalities just like any other living creature would ;)

It was dreadful! I thought he'd actually got out of the house entirely because I didn't find him for ages - it was a really rickety house. He used to pull pieces off the laminate floor in one particular room too. As soon as we moved to the new house he did pull some beading off the skirting board... but now has stopped being destructive at all. I suspect that if I let him into some parts of the house he'd probably do something dreadful - but that said, they got into my bedroom a few days ago and even though there were clothes everywhere, neither of them destroyed anything (and they have destroyed clothes in the past!).
I make them sound so bad. :P They are very sweet and playful animals really. You can't stay mad at them! I absolutely adore them :D

I want a skunk so bad and did a ton of research on them. They're illegal in my state though :( I want a chocolate coloured one.
