Mystals ability to manipulate water and air were developed to help condition the air for the sickly child of Grand Summoner Blackwood, who’d been struggling with breathing difficulties after a bad case of pneumonia, as well as keep her company during her father's long hours teaching other students.

Though somewhat scatter-brained, the implings gentle and loving personality made her a good fit for the daughter, even if she’s often skittish and shy around others. She’s fast to try and please others, but easily grows emotional and can take some time to calm down if upset.
