Here we can see that Vani has had a serious glitch, fallen on the ground, and caught fire. Chip was nearby to witness it, but since he can't say anything other than "NOOT!", he can't call for help. He also can't use a fire extinguisher.

So he decided to to the next best thing: roast some marshmallows, since it'd be a shame to put a good fire to waste. Good thing he always keeps a bag handy in that box of his.
