This is a painting commission I had gotten from . Most of the commissions I get are off of FurBid or FurBuy and the few times I've gotten ripped off are overshadowed by the times I get good stuff like this.
I wanted something set in a warehouse, with a typical Russian dinner (vodka, bread, and pickles), high-key lighting, and me with (as I like to see, for some reason) an unhappy expression. I think it turned out well, considering the artist has never painted a skunk before (and I've never commissioned a painting before). BTW the commission was ridiculously cheap, which is why I'm always trolling the auction sites for gems.
I don't post writing in this account but I do write stories from time to time. This pic was based off of a small story about a Russian guy who had to lock another Russian guy in a walk-in freezer until he froze to death (which takes about long enough to finish dinner and half a bottle of vodka). My stories are always sad.
She'll be shipping the actual painting (11 inches by 14 inches) soon enough.
PS if you fav this one, be a doll and fav her submission as well eh?
