I've already had another similar piece done before by her, but it was just an icon, and I've wanted to get a more complete version done for some time now.

I like the thought of making a talking being (or oneself) out of inanimate material, it's very Velveteen Rabbit. Also I used to repair my clothes quite a bit when I was younger; it made me feel productive and I kind of miss fixing things instead of just throwing them out, it just seems more ethical. It's probably why I've had so many repairs done on all my fursuits :)
