A strip I drew at school, below is the revised text in the segments (Because my handwriting is crap).

1. I've been alive for 2000 years...
2. The world evolved, no, modernized, all around me.
3. But is the world a happier place?
4. I'm no longer as powerful as I once was, mans capacity for destruction has become indescribable.*
5. I don't want to live another 2000 years...

For anyone wondering what the being is, it is an enemy out of the video game 'Shining Force', and, literally summed up in one simple phrase, they're Steam Powered Jets. Weird, I know, very steampunk, but the concept has nagged my mind; it is a shame that FA lacks mechanically related tags.

*For those that haven't played the game, Jets were a pain in the ass enemy that really could maul whoever didn't have decent defense. No, they don't actually use the claws... they literally ram into you, I know, it's silly, I guess they have other plans for those claws, if you catch my drift (Though you probably don't).
