This is my entry for a Contest hosted by CobraVenom on deviantART and features her character Alvaro.
The keywords given for the character were: Adventurous, Daring, Desert, Approaching Storm, Cliffs, Chase, Dune, Watcher
I tried to somewhat incorporate them all - I hope successfully so!

Painting that background was a battle. But I'm quite happy with how that cliff in the foreground came out. Lately I have been avoiding backgrounds a lot, but for this piece I pushed myself a bit. It certainly could be better, but I'm getting there. :) Painted entirely in PS this time (no SAI), and enjoyed that a lot more than I thought I would! Photoshop, my old friend, I'm back. ♥
