The smaller blade piece is from a railroad spike, the longer blade is CRS [cold rolled steel] which is low carbon and wont hold a edge, But will be case hardened.

Both pieces are still being worked on and slowly coming together. These two are my first pieces out of my large forge in close to 5 years. So yeah.. Still rusty but working myself into a better form and refining my skills again.
