Sketched during the playable teaser for this summer's weather that Ohio decided to release last week. With luck, it'll end up getting canceled just like Silent Hills. Ooh topical!
Inked and colored in Paint Tool SAI, which I am pleased to say I've taken to rather quickly. Special thanks to Cougari for pointing me in the direction of Lazy Nezumi, which I used to achieve the spiffy straight lines on the cooler.

Guh, I can't stand these controls. I think I'll just keep doing everything by hand.

Yeah, they really need a way to set both ends of the line in place before you start drawing. Or better yet, just let you vector-tool any figure you want and then snap the brush to that. I've mentioned before how much I'd love to have something like that.

I might just have gotten used to the stabilizer in SAI, but I didn't have much luck getting the line quality I needed in terms of starting and/or ending with a sharp line (mostly on the end).
I tend to do the brunt of the work in SAI, and hop over into Photoshop if I need to mess with levels or use a custom brush (I hate most of SAI's painting brushes so, so so sososososo much).
