With the paranoia of the Kevala Tribe's leader, the tribal jackals have not created an alliance with any other group ever since their rise in prosperity. Dayla encounters the Tribe of Luna's Throat and after several meetings has warmed up to them and their abilities.

She remains greatly amused by their variety in species, but acknowledges their strengths. She decides to hold a secret pact to commence an exchange in supplies for information and personal scouting; however, that is not the only exchange they hold. Per tradition, the two powerful figures have a hefty, gut-stretching meal to celebrate their alliance.
