Nevada: How can a snake have boobs?

Got an ask directed specifically at one of my characters on tumblr. Figured I'd doodle a little reply. Nevada probably wasn't the best person to ask for an in depth answer though

      Sure, Quetzalcoatl (whose name literally means feathered serpent) and other mesoamerican gods like him (most cultures seem to have their own feathered serpent of some sort) share a visual similarity with chinese dragons, but they're also SUPER CLEARLY based on snakes, which is a much more meaningful basis in my opinion than like, comparisons with mythological creatures of cultures from the opposite side of the world

      Similarly, Connor at one point was explicitly a normal mundane snake woman with boobs, so there's not some averting that I give boobs to snake people.
