The sign for Zero Gravity, a dance club in Naperville, IL. I've lived in the area for almost five years now and haven't seen the sign run in quite some time. Zero Gravity originally catered to the 16-20 crowd, but it's mostly been replaced by "BLUR", a 21+ club that operates in the same space with a completely unremarkable plastic sign that's mounted beneath the neon. When driving home from a dinner date a week or so ago I saw they were running the neon and the chase lights around it, so I hurried home to get my camera.

Have I mentioned I love neon?

Best part of this is that while shooting the sign, which is on the highway's right-of-way, an employee of the club pulled up and demanded to know what I was doing and (when I told him I was taking pictures of the sign), why. The paranoia levels surrounding photography these days are outstanding, aren't they?
