Detail of much larger sculpture where you get better view of the ancestor spirit emerging from the vision serpent's mouth. You can see the forked tongue wrapped around the forearms, tips resting on the palms.

its really hard to get a good detail shot that shows interior of mouth well. You can faintly see the ridging of the palette behind the shoulders.
