A Closer Bond (Pichu TF)

You've always had a bit of a rocky relationship with your Pikachu.
It's not like you don't care about each other, but you're never really on the same page.

Always disagreeing on small things and not really understanding each other. You've had a hard time bonding together.

But Pikachu is determined to get closer to you. So much in fact that they come up with a peculiar plan.

They want to turn you into a Pichu! That way you can understand each other!

They start asking other Pokémon if it's even possible to do such a thing and if so how.

But none of them know anything about it.

After a couple of weeks of no progress. They start to lose hope for their plan.
Maybe it just isn't possible...

Until one night when you're asleep in your tent and Pikachu is up thinking to themself outside.
A Mismagius flies over whispering to Pikachu.

"My my such a sad visage.. Are you the one I've heard whispers about?.. The one who wants to change their trainer?..."

Pikachu is surprised at the question.

"Yes, I want to get closer to them. I thought turning them into a Pichu would help..." They say nodding.

"Well well well, then you're in luck.. I have just the thing for you..." The Mismagius says.

Their eyes glow and out of nowhere a small vial filled with a clear liquid appears.

Plucking a couple strands of fur from Pikachu with their psychic powers. They place it in the vial.

The liquid bubbles, the fur slowly dissolving as the liquid turns a pale yellow.

"Let them drink this and you'll get what you desire..." Mismagius says.

It floats towards Pikachu who grabs it in their paws.
"Really?! Thank you!" Pikachu exclaims, eyes shining with a spark of hope.

"No problem..." Mismagius responds,

before laughing and flying away. "Eeehhh! hee hee hee hee..."
Their laugh slowly fading away into the night.

Pikachu immediately runs into your tent. Putting the vial towards your mouth.
You gulp it all down in your sleep.

That night you find yourself in a surreal dream. You're transforming into a Pichu in it.
Ears growing larger, longer and pointier as they migrate towards the top of your head.

Your whole body gets covered in pale yellow fur.

Black fur growing on the top side of your ears and your neck.

You feel your body, arms and legs shrinking. Your fingers and toes merge together
Leaving you with yellow stumps with thumbs for hands and round feet with three toes.

You feel a tail growing, smaller at the base and thickening on the end. It's crooked and covered in black fur.

Lastly You feel a spark on your cheeks as pink pouches grow on them.
You spend the rest of your dream enjoying your new body.

The next morning, you wake up feeling a bit strange. You stretch and sit up, rubbing your eyes.
But as you open them, you're greeted with a small pair of paws and a tiny black nose.

At first your sleep addled mind thinks it's normal.

But after a couple of seconds you panic.
Jumping up and examining yourself frantically.

What?! The dream you had was real?

Then you hear a voice. "It worked!"
Looking up you see Pikachu now standing taller than you. With a huge grin on their face.

"Pikachu? What worked? Did you do this? Why am I a Pichu?" you ask, still trying to wrap your head around the situation.

"Yes I did! Isn't it great! We can finally understand each other!" They exclaim.

You're still in shock, trying to process everything that's happened.

"Ooohh I'll teach you everything you need to know about being a Pichu. This'll be so much fun!" Pikachu says excitingly.

You don't really know how to react. You want to be angry, but Pikachu seems so happy to see you like this.

Maybe this is how you can finally start understanding each other?
You decide to give it a chance. Besides what's the worst that could come from this?

Doing this mostly for archiving purposes because twitter isn't exactly the best for archiving.
