A New Family by fellianthedragon (critique requested)

I'm not sure why I'm writing this. I guess it's so I can make sense of what happened to me.

It all started a few weeks ago. I was walking to the bus stop on my way to college, as always, and I decided to take a shortcut through the woods. As I was going through the woods, I fell over. As I was getting up, I saw an egg. It was red with black spots.
"Hmm. Interesting colours." I began to walk away, when I heard a crack. I looked behind me and saw that the egg was hatching, "Woah." I crouched down and watched the egg. A hole appeared and a little nose poked though the hole. I reached out touched the nose. It sneezed cutely.
"Aww." I said. The hole got bigger and a reptilian head poked out. "Aww. It's a baby lizard." I thought. Eventually, the reptile got out of the egg, and that's when I noticed the wings, "Oh. My. God. That is awesome."
The baby dragon looked up at me, and smiled, showing its tiny teeth.
"Aww. That's adorable. Well. I have to go to college now." I got up and started to walk away. I heard a whine. I stopped and looked at the dragon, "I have to go. I'll see you later today, I promise."
The dragon went back to its egg sadly.
Around six hours later, I went back to the forest, and saw the hatchling, still where it was six hours ago. "You still here?" I asked the hatchling. It looked at me and perked up, "I wonder if you're orphaned?" The hatchling tilted its head.
"How about you come home with me?" The hatchling grinned and wagged its tail.
"OK. Where to hide you?" I thought for a moment, "Ah ha, my lunch box." I took out my empty lunch box and invited the hatchling to jump in. It did. I closed the box, put it in my bag and went home. When I got home, I took my lunch box out and ran upstairs. I but the box on my bed and opened it, "Hey little guy, or girl." The hatchling grinned at me. "Aww. So cute."
The next day I went out to the forest on my way to college again. Suddenly, a large shadow flew over me. I looked up, but saw nothing. Suddenly, I heard a thud behind me. I stopped, looking worried. I slowly turned around and saw a massive pink dragon. My jaw dropped. I took a few steps back.
"Where's my son?" The dragon asked.
"W-w-what?"
"You have taken my son. Where is he?"
"Oh. H-here." I took my bag off and put it on the floor. I took out a cardboard box with holes in, placed it on the ground and lifted the lid. The hatchling poked its head out
"Son!" The adult dragon ran over to the hatchling and nuzzled it.
"Aww. Well, I better be going now." I said as I turned to walk away.
"Wait! How can I repay you?" asked the dragon. I turned back.
"Err... I dunno."
""There must be something."
"Well... My life is a bit rubbish. Anything you can do to help?"
"I can think of one thing. How would you like to be my son's step-father?"
"I would like that, but I'm human."
"I can change that." The dragon's eyes start to glow.
"Wait, what?"
My skin started to itch. I stared at my hand as it changed colour and my skin morphed into scales. My skin itched all over, and I guessed my entire body was covered in scales. Then my fingernails itched, and I saw that they were growing and becoming sharp claws. I then felt my spine extend and, as I looked behind, saw a long reptilian tail grow from under my jeans. My clothes got tighter, and I guessed that my body was growing. Eventually, I heard a rip, and my clothes and shoes were shredded. I looked down at my feet and saw the claws. Then, my face ached, and I could feel it stretching into what I assumed was a reptilian muzzle. My arms lengthened and I fell on all fours. Finally, I felt two things grow out of my back, and guessed they were wings. I collapsed from exhaustion.
The hatchling cooed and walked over to me. I slowly lifted my head and smiled, "Hey there."
"How would you like to name my son?" asked the dragon.
"OK... How about... Fang?"
"Fang. I like that. Oh, and by the way, my name's Angelyn."
"Okay. My name's Johnny."
"Johnny? I think you should have a new name for your new form." she said
"Okay. What do you suggest?"
"... How about Fellian?"
"Ooh. I like it"

So, that's my story. Do I like my new life and family? Of course I do. Now I need to write a letter to my parents. What the hell am I going to say?
