I cringe really hard as I post those two pictures on the left there, as they are from 10 years ago. (holy shit 10 years, i just realized that wtf)
I was drawing walking talking humanoid animals since before I even knew what a furry was (I learned of them when I turned 18) and this was one of my creations that's kind of stuck with me in the back of my mind since his creation.

His name is Jame (jay me). He's the same species as TR (Cat-beast, oooh, so special, donut steal :v)
But lost most of his abilities, and his sign when he and his gang at the time were attacked by Slare (that lovely drippy anorexic black thing) who was a notorious blood thirsty vampire (I was 15, sue me)
Slare didn't always look like that, he looked pretty..uh...normal for a vampire I guess? But anyway, Slare attacked Jame's gang, slaughtering them all happily. Jame tried to escape after watching the massacre unfold before him, but Slare caught him easily. However, instead of a perfect end to a gluttonous spree, when Slare bite Jame, a reaction happened and he was absorbed into Jame. (AGAIN. 15. SUE ME. I MADE WEIRD STORIES)

He became a parasite in Jame's brain, with Jame himself becoming vampiric, losing the use of his sign and his transforming ability. He torments Jame almost constantly, causing him to be quite close to insane. He hangs on though, to spite Slare. Hangs on and fights against him so as to never witness again the same horrors as his gang's remains.

Slare can take partial control of Jame's body, especially when Jame is mentally exhausted. While having no corporeal body of his own, Slare can also manifest in Jame's shadow. A useless form for killing, but useful for tormenting the poor dude.

Though actually still having a friend or two, Jame tries hard to stay away from people, though unable to do so completely due to needing strength to keep Slare at bay. He won't bite to kill, or usually even bite at all, carrying around a blade to slit open a wound to drink from. He'll usually takes multiple 'victims' as to sate himself, to not cause lasting damage (much to Slare's distaste)

Early on, he tried to starve himself, hoping to die and kill both him and Slare off for good, but became so weak, Slare took over and went on another killing spree. Jame came to, as Slare almost killed Sheo. (another char of mine)
Sheo knows to keep her distance, but she is one of Jame's few friends. She, along with one or two others will help him with his blood lust, to avoid some of his guilt of needing blood in the first place. She's also one of the few he'll actually bite, as she has a fear of knives.

One day I'll actually make him his damned reff. But i finally felt the obligation to at least give him some much needed new art.

I hope to breath new life into him soon. I'm so terribly sorry if you actually read all that bullshit above lol. He came from a time when I would create a character on a whim and create this giant back story for them for no reason. But he was one of the lucky ones who stuck around.
